The premise behind the AS-R 7's development was to create a trail bike with even more travel and descending capabilities than the 575 platform, and still be a capable climber. Well, you have exactly that in the AS-R 7: 7" of rear-wheel travel in a 7.5 lb package. The main pivot location and leverage ratio make the as-r 7 an efficient pedaling machine. But when gravity takes over, that's when things get fun.
The fully custom hydroformed tubeset enabled Yeti to optimize the weight-to-stiffness ratio of the frame. With this frame it is possible to build a 29 lb complete 7" travel bike. Pair that with a tapered headtube, 12mm custom rear thru axle, swingarm mounted front derailleur, ISCG mount, gravity dropper cable routing, and an ultra stiff carbon dogbone, and you have your do-it-all bike equipped for tackling the accents and ripping down the descents. With the AS-R 7 you have all the tools to take on whatever the trail throws at you, and not think twice about it. Climb easier - descend faster. Lighter and more nimble than most dedicated big-drop, big-hit bikes, the El Guapo is a whole lot more plush than the fast twitch behavior of XC oriented frames. Depending on the parts mix the El Guapo can easily be built under 30lbs and ridden as a confidence inspiring trail bike. Go slightly more heavy duty on the part selection and it is very capable of running with the big dogs in chairlift country.

Slayer SXC 30 Frame If you're looking to build an all-mountain/trail bike (aka "the do it all"), here's a very good place to start: The Slayer SXC 30. As Rocky Mountain's all-mountain tamer, the SXC frames are designed with slack head angles, asymmetric chainstays, and hydroformed aluminum tubes to keep it stiff, light, and just right. Pointed up or down, straight or technical, it feels at home in any of those circumstances. The LC2R suspension system gives you the right platform for both pedaling and bump absorption. Match it with the right components and you just might end up having THE ONE bike.

No compromises, only the best! With a fullseven inches of travel this frame will flygoing downhill, especially when the terrain gets rough. But don't let itsdownhill prowessfool you into thinking its a "one way" frame, it climbs very welltoo. The heart of its abilities come from the Active Suspension design, it isplush and efficient. The key ingredient to the design is thecarbon fiber dog bone; it keeps the rear wheel tracking straight andprovides the optimal leverage ratio throughout itstravel. The AS-R 7 is the clearwinner in the long travel, light weight category.

Corsair Marque Frame Representing the newest breed of All-Mountain/Trail bikes, the Marque is lightweight but tough - ideally suited for the rider who requires more travel than is offered by the typical XC bike but still demands efficient pedaling and climbing characteristics. With over 5” (130mm) of high-quality travel, the Marque quite simply out-climbs and out-descends anything else in its class.

TECH HIGHLIGHTS:
Low Leverage Ratio: While many bikes are developed around suspension systems that result in leverage ratios of approximately 3:1, the low 2:1 stroke ratio (5"/130mm of rear wheel travel, 2.5"/65mm of shock stroke) utilized by the Marque, results in a number of benefits: First, longer and lower stroke ratio shocks have a larger environment in which to do their work, resulting in less stress on the shock itself, leading to a more durable and longer lasting piece of equipment. Second, longer stroke shocks offer a greater range of adjustability. Finally, lower spring rates result in more sensitive shock reaction.
Pedaling Efficiency: Pedaling efficiency is a challenge facing every long-travel bicycle design. The Marque utilizes a swingarm-mounted idler pulley to neutralize chain-growth and reduce pedal feedback in all three chainrings. This pulley position creates a very slight stiffening of the rear swingarm while pedaling - a functionality often referred to as "anti squat" - which results in a more efficient and responsive pedal feel. The idler pulley's system's effect on chain growth is notable. The Marque's idler pulley system supports the use of a front derailleur and offers the ability to use one, two, or three chaingrings.
Serviceability: The Marque's rear swingarm is attached to the main frame using their washerless SureLock axle system which prevents the hard anodized 7075 aluminum axle from loosening. When it comes time for service, this simple system is among the easiest high-performance bikes to service and maintain.
Center Balance: The pivot point on the Marque is in a mid-high position and is positioned behind the bottom bracket. By positioning the pivot in line with or behind the bottom bracket, Center Balance helps alleviate the heavy feel that can be associated with a forward pivot location. Corsair bikes have a lighter, more maneuverable front end and ride-feel because of the Center Balance design. This characteristic is mandatory for successful slopestyle athletes.
Rear Suspension Design: The Marque features a single pivot rear suspension design. Designed for serious pedaling, the Marque includes a full length seat tube which allows for full saddleheight adjustability. The bike's 9.5" x 2.5" (240x65mm) rear shock is actuated by an innovative rocker link that pivots around the bottom bracket shell. Finally, the Marque's mid-high rearward mounted swingarm means that the overall swingarm length is short - resulting in optimal lateral stiffness and a lightweight swingarm, both of which contribute to high quality suspension performance.
Center of Gravity: Low center of gravity results in a more maneuverable bike. The Marque's swingarm pivots are located close to the bottom bracket and the rear shock is located low and close to the bottom bracket. This shock placement is a key in achieving the Marque's low center of gravity.
Fit, Finish, & Attention to Detail: As with all Corsair bikes, great time and effort have gone into ensuring that the smallest details are treated with the greatest degree of importance. The Marque's hardware is recessed into the frame - this creates smooth, clean lines and durable mechanical connections. And finally, their 12-step painting process, which includes a special extra-durable clear coat, creates a long lasting, high quality finish.
Axle Path: The Marque's axle path has been carefully considered in order to produce maximum suspension performance. Specifically, a high rearward pivot location is used to achieve a rearward axle path. The greater the rearward movement of the axle, the more efficient the design becomes at transferring energy to the rear shock rather than the frame. By combining this pivot placement with the idler pulley system, the Marque's axle path offers high quality suspension movement and energy management while providing for efficient pedaling.
The 575 has been oneof Yeti's most popular bikes for years! It's the definition ofversatile; lightweight and efficient when riding up hill, burly andsure footed when gravity takes over. Rocky Mountain Slayer 70 Frame As the name implies, this frame is a slayer. Designed around a stouter and more aggressive 160mm travel fork, the Slayer, whether going up or down, just kills.
The Slayer uses Rocky Mountain's FORM™ tubing--a line of high-performance tubes which gives Rocky Mountain bikes that unique ride it's known for. Rocky Mountain's Straight Up geometry gives you a bio-mechanically correct seat position for maximum horsepower and also saves your lower back and limits pressure from your sensitive areas. The SmoothLink suspension design features minimal pedal feedback for a smoother pedal stroke.
